New Zelda game pushed back into 2006
Nintendo says, “Link's next GameCube adventure will begin no earlier than next April”: dev team adding, "new levels, more depth."
Last time Link appeared on console was back in 2003's ‘The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Walker'. This time in ‘Twilight Princess', the elfin hero of Hyrule has grown up.
However, Nintendo recently announced that the GameCube game will miss it's original, Holiday Season 2005, shipping date.
Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo of America's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs, stated: After much discussion, the Zelda development team has requested additional time to add new levels, more depth, and even higher quality to Zelda: Twilight Princess. Consequently, we're announcing a new global launch in 2006,"
The game is now expected to hit shelves no sooner than April 1 st 2006. Despite the disappointment of fans of the series Kaplan assures that the extra time “Will absolutely enrich the game,"
