Vin Diesel coming to PS3

Recently, Vin Diesel was announced to be working in a new project from MTV films titled “The Wheelman”. Vinny will be lending his acting skills for both the film and the Xbox360/PS3 game from Midway.

The game will be developed by Midway Games (developer of the popular Mortal Kombat games) and is expected to be ready sometime in 2007 for both next gen systems, Microsoft’s Xbox360 and Sony’s PS3.

According to Coming Soon.net, "Wheelman is an action-adventure title about an expert driver who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past. The video game's story will be a prequel to the film, with some crossover between the two. The budget for the game is expected to be $15 million." Midway has announced that they would work with MTV to sell in-game advertisements as well as work together on soundtracks for three upcoming games.

Hopefully the game will be as good as Vin Diesel’s last video game (Chronicles of Riddick). I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
